Handlung
„Sind wir verrückt nach Waffen, oder einfach nur verrückt?“ … Mit lakonischem Zynismus und beißendem Witz geht Regisseur Michael Moore, ausgehend vom Columbine Highschool Massaker im April 1999, auf eine wahnwitzige Reise in das Herz Amerikas. Er porträtiert mit bewegender Emotionalität und mitunter feuilletonistischen Volten voll absurder Komik eine Nation zwischen Waffenfetischismus und angstbesetzter Paranoia. Ein Volk mit dem Colt im Anschlag für die permanente Selbstverteidigung.
